The following are some of the remarks left by the guests in the guest book at Maki Talo at Brantwood, Wisconsin, on the occasion of the ribbon chopping ceremony and meal on Saturday, July 18th, 2009:

Bill Hoffman, the owner of Maki Talo at Brantwood, Wisconsin, used a Fiskars hatchet made in Finland to chop the ribbon officially opening Maki Talo. Mike Macki prepared a 5-star meal of salmon, alligator and bluegill. Rod Maki and June Saari Johnson entertained on their accordions. And the assembled guests enjoyed the entire production.
